Equipment

  • 1 Food processor If you don't have a food processor, a blender can work too.
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 Silicone baking mat
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • Pre-heat your oven to 170 degrees
  • Puree all ingredients together until smooth
  • Pour puree onto silicone mat and place into the oven for 3-4 hours
  • You will know when the fruit leather is done when it no longer feels sticky and does not lift from the mat when you touch it.
  • Once the leather is done in the oven, let it sit for about five minutes. After five minutes turn the mat over peel the leather off of the mat.
  • To slice the leather into pieces you can use kitchen scissors or i like to use my pizza cutter!
  • Place pieces of parchment paper in between the leather strips to avoid them sticking together while storing in an air tight container.
  • Enjoy your freshly made strawberry fruit leather!
