Equipment
- 1 Food processor If you don't have a food processor, a blender can work too.
- 1 Baking sheet
- 1 Silicone baking mat
- Parchment paper
Ingredients
- 1 lb Strawberries
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 170 degrees
- Puree all ingredients together until smooth
- Pour puree onto silicone mat and place into the oven for 3-4 hours
- You will know when the fruit leather is done when it no longer feels sticky and does not lift from the mat when you touch it.
- Once the leather is done in the oven, let it sit for about five minutes. After five minutes turn the mat over peel the leather off of the mat.
- To slice the leather into pieces you can use kitchen scissors or i like to use my pizza cutter!
- Place pieces of parchment paper in between the leather strips to avoid them sticking together while storing in an air tight container.
- Enjoy your freshly made strawberry fruit leather!
